Delete your Viet Reader account

You can permanently delete your Viet Reader account and everything stored with it. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

Deleting is permanent. Your saved words and study progress cannot be recovered afterwards. If you want to keep a copy, open the Vocab tab and tap Back up first — that writes your whole word list to a file you keep.

From inside the app (fastest)

Open Viet Reader and go to the Account tab.
Make sure you are signed in, then tap Delete my account.
Read the confirmation, then tap Delete forever.

Your account and its data are removed immediately, and the app signs you out and clears the words stored on your device.

By request

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email soxdesk.app@gmail.com from the address you used to register, with the subject Delete my Viet Reader account. We will delete the account and confirm by reply, normally within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

We keep no backup copy of your vocabulary after deletion. We do not sell or share personal data, so there is nothing to recall from anyone else.

Using the app without an account

An account is optional. If you never create one, your words never leave your device and there is nothing for us to delete — uninstalling the app removes everything.
